While we’re still waiting for the official roster drop next month, here’s a player you can look forward to watching in every "Friday Night Frisbee" game this season.

Travis Dunn, SD
Friday, April 24 | Carolina Flyers vs. San Diego Growlers

Coming off his seventh consecutive All-UFA team selection in 2025, Travis Dunn enters his 11th pro season with 700 career scores (goals plus assists), third most all-time. One of the most consistent hybrids in league history, Dunn will look to lead the Growlers to an opening day win over the team they beat out for a playoff spot last season.

Chad Yorgason, SLC
Friday, May 1 | Oregon Steel vs. Salt Lake Shred

A Second Team All-UFA selection in 2025, Chad Yorgason’s switch to O-line gave a massive boost to the young, up-tempo Salt Lake offense; Chad led the team in total yards, scores, and huck completions, and the team’s offensive efficiency jumped nine points from 2024 to 2025. He was an MVP candidate for the bulk of last season, and should get off to a hot start against a team that allowed over 22 scores per game in 2025.

Alex Atkins, NY
Sunday, May 10 | DC Breeze vs. New York Empire

Let’s see what Alex Atkins brings to the table in one of the league’s most historic rivalries, as the Empire host the Breeze in Week 2. New York’s splashy offseason addition can be a problem on both sides of the disc, and it’ll be worth watching throughout the season how Atkins’ role is optimized for the three-time champs.

Quinn Finer, COL
Friday, May 15 | Colorado Apex vs. DC Breeze

One of the few proven playmakers left on the rebranded Colorado Apex, Quinn Finer will likely have to put the team on his back to have a shot at a successful DC–New York double header road trip. Finer has reached 60-plus scores in three of his four pro seasons, and if he stays healthy, he may lead the league in scores in 2026.

Austin Taylor, ATL
Saturday, May 23 | Atlanta Hustle vs. Carolina Flyers

Austin Taylor continued to make his case last season for best QB1 in the league. No player had more throwing yards or total yards than Taylor in 2025, and he recorded over 600 total yards in three of four meetings with Carolina. Every meeting between these teams feels like a must-win, and Atlanta’s offense will once again depend on Taylor as their key distributor to lead them to victory.

Will Wettengel, IND
Friday, May 29 | Chicago Union vs. Indianapolis AlleyCats

The 2025 First Team All Defense selection will go up against his former team in a must-watch revenge game in Week 6. One of several big-name additions for Indy this offseason, Will Wettengel is sure to play a sizable role in establishing a defensive identity for the AlleyCats; look for this unit to impose its Will :) on the Union in their first meeting of the season.

Tobe Decraene, BOS
Friday, June 5 | New York Empire vs. Boston Glory

The reigning MVP will likely be leaned on in this one, as the Empire come to Boston for a big mid-season rivalry game. Tobe Decraene showcased his downfield dominance against New York last season, with nearly 900 combined receiving yards and 13 scores in two meetings, making multiple highlight reel catches each game.

Walker Frankenberg, OAK
Friday, June 12 | Minnesota Wind Chill vs. Oakland Spiders

Walker Frankenberg had the best season of his young career in Year 3 with Oakland, finishing as the only player to reach 40 assists and 40 goals in 2025 while accumulating over 6,800 total yards, third most in the league. This game features a fun clash of styles—will Frankenberg’s fast-paced hybrid playstyle run into the wall that is the Minnesota defense? If he’s able to work his usual small space magic against the league’s best defense, Frankenberg could find himself in the MVP conversation for the second straight year.

Anthony Gutowsky, MAD
Thursday, June 18 | Salt Lake Shred vs. Madison Radicals

Anthony “Gumby” Gutowsky has improved in every major statistical category each season since his rookie year in 2023, most recently reaching a plus/minus of +64 in 2025, good for sixth in the league. A true two-way player for Madison, Gumby could be tasked with slowing down one of the more fast-paced offenses in the league—he totaled 19 blocks in 2025, tied for sixth most in the league—or helping respond on offense with quick strikes to the end zone.

Lukas Ambrose, MIN
Friday, June 19 | Salt Lake Shred vs. Minnesota Wind Chill

I’m circling this Salt Lake vs. Minnesota matchup for Lukas Ambrose, who will face a familiar foe despite his new home in the Central Division. Ambrose has had a couple massive games against Salt Lake over the years; he had a three-block, four-goal game in his first year with LA, then a five-block, three-goal game during his Defensive Player of the Year campaign in 2024 with Seattle. This game will be a great midseason check-in for both teams, and it’ll be worth watching how Ambrose elevates Minnesota’s ceiling against a championship-caliber opponent.

Evan Magsig, OAK
Friday, June 26 | Oakland Spiders vs. Colorado Apex

When Oakland hosted Colorado in the first round of playoffs last year, Evan Magsig played his best game of the season with 10 total scores, over 400 total yards and a perfect 47-of-47 throwing day. Magsig’s ability to quarterback the offense when needed, then play complement to his fellow offensive playmakers when others have the hot hand makes him a tough matchup to key in on, and given his career arc to this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take another step forward in 2026.

Justin Burnett, MIN
Friday, July 3 | Chicago Union vs. Minnesota Wind Chill

Justin Burnett put on a show last time Minnesota played Chicago, coming away with multiple highlights in the Wind Chill’s 19-17 win over the Union in the 2025 Central Division Championship Game. You can tell even after just one season in Minnesota, Burnett understands how to level up for this rivalry, and this early July meeting could have big playoff implications in the Central.

Jack Williams, NY
Friday, July 10 | New York Empire vs. Chicago Union

When New York and Chicago last met in the 2022 championship, “Playoff Jack” was on full display; Jack Williams tossed five assists, scored two goals and went 42-of-43 on his throws en route to the Empire’s second title. It’ll be interesting to see how his role continues to evolve—he saw heavy backfield usage in 2025—with the addition of Alex Atkins, and this late-season matchup should serve as a great chance for New York to solidify its rotations as they head towards a likely playoff berth.

Jordan Kerr, Salt Lake Shred
Friday, July 17 | Oakland Spiders vs. Salt Lake Shred

Top 10 in the league in plus/minus (+60) last year, Jordan Kerr quietly led his team in the category, successfully bouncing back from an injury-riddled 2024 campaign. He played a massive role in rejuvenating the Salt Lake attack, consistently showcasing the ability to stretch the field as a continuation thrower; Kerr completed 12 throws of 40-plus yards during the regular season, his highest total since joining the team in 2022. He tossed six assists in their playoff win over Oakland and tends to play at his peak in front of the home crowd—he’s a must-watch in this potential playoff preview.
