An Oregon native and product of the Willamette Valley Ultimate scene, Quinn began playing frisbee at the age of 8 after picking it up from his father, who had previously played in college on the East Coast. After a decorated career in youth, Quinn would stay close to home, attending Oregon State University in Corvallis, where he played 5 seasons for the Beavers, captaining for 4. Mild-mannered off the field, Quinn brings a quiet, focused intensity that shows up on the field in big grabs, consistent high-level performance, and, above all, integrity of play.
