Since April 2015, the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds have been owned and operated by Dr. Tracy Neuendorf, Amy Neuendorf, and General Manager Andrew Gardner.

For the first time in 11 years, the Thunderbirds’ current ownership group is selling a majority ownership stake in the team heading into the 2027 Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) season.
We are seeking new investors who will provide fresh ideas, inject new excitement, and continue to build upon the strong foundations of Ultimate Frisbee in Western Pennsylvania.
As our fans know, Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, dynamic sport that creates an exciting environment for spectating and an adrenaline-pumping experience for players. What makes Ultimate Frisbee so unique is the non-stop action, the ability for players to make their own calls, and the cathartic, floating flight of a Frisbee.
Over the past 11 years, the Thunderbirds have experienced growth that has left an indelible mark on our fans, our staff, and our players.
In 2023, the Thunderbirds officially moved their home stadium from J.C. Stone Field in North Park to a state-of-the-art facility in Station Square, F.N.B. Stadium. The stadium, which is often cited as the best stadium in the entire UFA, sits up against the Monongahela River and is home to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League.
The Thunderbirds have forged incredible partnerships with Two Frays Brewery, Play It Again Sports, Allegheny Health Network, Dave and Buster’s, Anderson Coach and Travel, Y Associates, Matt Bonosky Realty, Better Build Physical Therapy, EvRock Entertainment, DiscStore, James Field Insurance, and several dozen more over the years. It’s these partnerships that provide unlimited future potential for Ultimate Frisbee in Pittsburgh.
