CHICAGO — The Chicago Union will be flying their red, white and blue this Fourth of July weekend, with a home-and-away doubleheader: a Friday road match-up against the Minnesota Wind Chill and a Sunday home game against the Indianapolis AlleyCats.

Chicago Union @ Minnesota Wind Chill – Friday, 7/3 7:00 PM CDT

The Union enter the weekend looking to bounce back from a 14-11 loss to the Madison Radicals in wet, windy conditions at Lazier Field. Now they head to Minneapolis for a rematch with a familiar foe.

Minnesota opened Chicago's 2026 season by handing the Union two consecutive losses—a 22-12 defeat on the road, followed by a 20-15 loss at home two weeks later. Minnesota has only gotten stronger since then. The Wind Chill remain the only undefeated team in the Central Division, scoring 20+ goals in all but one game this season, including a 34-12 blowout of the Vegas Bighorns. Their most recent win came June 19th, a 20-16 victory over the Salt Lake Shred.

To avoid a season sweep Chicago will need to tighten up defensively, slowing Minnesota's fast-paced offense and limiting their downfield hucks. Tune in live on WatchUFA.TV starting at 7:00 PM CDT.

Chicago Union vs. Indianapolis AlleyCats – Sunday, 7/5 @ 4:00 PM CDT

With just one day to recover from what promises to be a grueling game against Minnesota, the Union return home to face the AlleyCats, who have a 2-5 record and fourth place in the Central Division after a recent loss to the Radicals.

The season series with the AlleyCats has also been difficult for the Union. The AlleyCats edged the Union 23-20 in late May for their first win of the season, then beat Chicago again 18-13 a month later on Indiana's home turf.

This time the Union will have home-field advantage for the first time in the series. To keep pace with Indianapolis's disciplined defense, Chicago will need to generate more creative offensive looks and find new ways to break through.

Tickets are available at shop.gochicagounion.com. Catch the action live at Lazier Field in Evanston this Sunday at 4:00 PM CDT, or stream it on WatchUFA.TV.
